Salary: 275,000 yen / month

Training: 2-3 weeks at 5000 yen / day

Work Details

• Work Days: Tuesday to Saturday
• Hours: 26 teaching hours / week. If teachers exceed 26 hours, they will be paid an overtime rate of 2000 yen / hour.
• Description: Teaching conversational English, EIKEN and grammar classes to adults, teens, and children (including “Parent and Baby” classes). Both group and individual classes are offered at a friendly, family-oriented private school. Teachers are expected to follow assigned curriculum and guidelines of the school. They are responsible for planning the details and delivery of their lessons independently and are encouraged to use their creativity in their teaching. Teachers also attend special events (e.g. Halloween party) outside of normal school hours, which are paid at an overtime rate.

Requirements

1. University degree
2. TEFL or TESL/CELTA certification.
3. Teaching experience is preferred.

Additional Benefits

• Approximately about 4 weeks paid vacation per year (about 2 weeks Christmas time, 1 week in Spring, Golden Week, 1 week in Summer). Holidays are set according to the school’s schedule.
• Accommodation is arranged by the company. You will have an individual apartment (59,000 yen / month). Utilities are your responsibility. The apartment is fully furnished and includes a futon, refrigerator, washing machine, and Wi-Fi.
• We arrange necessities such as work visa, foreign resident’s card, bank account.
• Beautiful surroundings close to Mount Fuji, Atami Beach, and accessible to Tokyo via train.
