Hosei University Part-Time English Instructor

The Faculty of Economics at Hosei University is seeking a part-time English instructor for its Tama Campus in Tokyo, Japan. This is a one-year contract, renewable yearly by mutual agreement up to a maximum of ten years. The position starts in April 2026.

Key Information

• Location: Hosei University, Faculty of Economics, Tama Campus
• Work Schedule: Mondays, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM
• Duties: Teach face-to-face English classes and perform related administrative tasks.
• Salary: Based on the university’s regulations.
• Visa Sponsorship: Not available.

Qualifications

• Native-level English proficiency (some Japanese ability is a plus).
• A Master’s Degree (TESOL, SLA, Applied Linguistics, or a similar field is preferred).
• University-level English teaching experience is preferred.
