English Teacher Position at Shonan-Shirayuri Gakuen

Shonan-Shirayuri Gakuen, an educational corporation located in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, is seeking a qualified English teacher for its kindergarten. The school integrates Catholic education with the Montessori approach to foster the holistic development of its students.

Position Details

• Role: English Teacher (Full-time or Part-time)
• Location: Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan (a 3-minute walk from Odakyu Enoshima Station)
• Compensation: The salary is negotiable, ranging from ¥210,000 to ¥350,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to teach English to kindergarten students in a classroom setting. The selected candidate will work alongside a Japanese assistant teacher to deliver a provided curriculum while also utilizing creativity to develop engaging and fun activities. A part-time option is available for the after-school program, which runs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.

Candidate Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Native-level English proficiency is preferred, along with a basic understanding of Japanese.
• Experience & Education: Applicants must be university graduates and should have prior experience in teaching.
• Residency: Candidates must currently reside in Japan.
• Visa: Visa sponsorship is available.
