English Chatroom Instructor needed at a University in central Kyoto city

This is an enjoyable position at a private University in central Kyoto city where you can interact with University students in conversations that you lead.

Job Description:
At a private University:
– Lead in-person one-on-one and small-group English Conversation sessions for University students for 20-minute to 40-minute sessions each.

Times and Days:
– Preferably on Thursdays from April 10th – July 3rd; and October 2nd to December 18th
– Times: 12:30 to 17:00
– 20-minute to 40-minute sessions with break times

– Additional optional sessions may be available in September, February and March

Requirements:
– Native English-Level proficiency
– Experience leading conversation sessions – preferred
– Experience teaching Japanese University students – preferred
– Bachelor’s degree – minimum preferred
– Currently or plans to live in the Kyoto city or surrounding areas with a valid working visa status

Contract: One year renewable.

Salary:
12,000 yen per day
