High School English Language Arts Teacher – April 2025 Start

Position: English Language Arts Teacher – 2025-2026 School Year

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified English Language Arts (ELA) teacher to join our team from September for the 2025 to 2026 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, generally one or two years of Years 7-11 students who are bilingual or native speakers of English. Responsibilities also include planning and implementing science lessons, targeting specific skills and concepts, managing classroom behavior to keep all students engaged in the lesson, and providing individual support and feedback for their students. Teachers are also expected to teach PBL (Problem- and Project-Based Learning) style lessons.

Skills and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
– Teaching License
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching ELA at the middle and/or high school level
– Strong knowledge of international curriculum standards
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
– Familiarity with technology-based teaching tools
