Japanese Teacher

Position: Japanese Teacher

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Japanese teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Japanese language courses across all stages of the school’s curriculum, ensuring that students receive high-quality instruction that meets their individual needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

– A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Masters in Education is preferred
– Has the Japanese Language Teaching Proficiency Certificate (日本語教育能力検定試験の合格書) or has completed 420 hours of the Japanese language teacher training course (日本語教師養成講座).
– Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Japanese language (Nihongo) at an international school
– Strong knowledge of the inquiry based learning
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Japanese languages.
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within the Languages department, as well as other departments across the whole school.
– Experience using technology tools such as interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms etc., would be advantageous.
