Subject Focus: Individuals and Societies (History & Business Management)
We are seeking an engaging IB DP Social Studies Teacher to deliver History (HL/SL) and Business Management (HL/SL).
In History, you will challenge students to analyze key historical events, make connections across time periods, and develop a deeper understanding of societal changes.
In Business Management, you will guide students through practical and theoretical concepts, helping them apply learning to real-world business scenarios.
Both subjects will emphasize critical thinking, debate, and inquiry, encouraging students to explore global issues from multiple perspectives.
Position Notes
– This is a full time, salaried position (salary denominated and payed in Japanese yen by bank transfer).
– This is a 100% remote, WFH position.
– Teachers guide learning and provide pastoral support for a 100% online cohort of students joining from across the Asia Pacific region.
– Applicants must reside in a timezone within 3 hours of Japan Standard Time for the duration of their employment in order to align with our Online IBDP timetable.
