Part-time English Teacher, Yamamura Kokusai High School, Sakado, Saitama

Part-time position at high school. 3 classes, each 2ce a week. We will set the actual hours depending on your preferences (for example two mornings a week).

Your main responsibility will be planning with the help of other teachers and conducting the lessons. Lessons are in line with the Japanese national curriculum. During exam periods, you will need to help create and assess the exams. Lots of support is available.

The salary is fixed at 72,000 yen per month. Although exam periods will be busy, when there are no lessons due to school or national vacations (including the long summer, winter and spring vacations), you will usually be free and not required to attend, with no effect on your monthly income, which is paid all through the year.

We want someone who enjoys teaching, is flexible and professional.

Speaking Japanese will be a big advantage as it is a largely Japanese environment, but is not necessary for the job.
