OYIS is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a love of learning, empowering students to become independent, curious, lifelong learners. They will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the PYP framework and create a safe, supportive environment that nurtures the whole child.

Job Description

  

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in teaching with a specialisation in primary education; or Bachelor’s Degree with a Post-Graduate Certificate or Diploma in primary education
  • 3+ years teaching experience
  • IBPYP experience
  • Native level (or near) English
  • Efficient level of ICT literacy (with experience in using GSuite for Education)

Desired:

  • Masters in Education
  • Experience with the implementation of Universal Design for Learning
  • Experience with Reading and Writing Workshop Framework
  • Experience with Concept Based Inquiry Mathematics Project
  • Experience in implementing restorative practices
