OYIS is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled PYP Physical and Health Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a lifelong love of physical activity and wellbeing through engaging, inquiry-based instruction. This role involves delivering a high-quality Physical and Health Education program aligned with IB PYP philosophy, fostering collaboration, and promoting healthy choices.

We are looking to build a perceptual motor program for our Early Childhood students. Experience or familiarity with this program will be highly favoured. A willingness to learn about and develop this program will also be favoured.

Job Description

  

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in teaching with a specialisation in physical education; or Bachelor’s Degree with a Post-Graduate Certificate or Diploma in physical education
  • 3+ years teaching experience
  • IBPYP experience
  • Native level (or near) English
  • Efficient level of ICT literacy (with experience in using GSuite for Education)

Desired:

  • Masters in Education
  • Swimming coach certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with Games for Understanding approach
  • Experience with the implementation of Perceptual Motor Program
  • Experience with the implementation of Universal Design for Learning
