Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

The application must: 

• Hold a proper working visa
• Have at least 2 years experience in a child care or early childhood education setting
• Speak English fluently (Native Level) and without a heavy accent
• Be flexible and ready to adapt and learn in a new school setting
• Be energetic and good with kids
• Have a foundational understanding of the safety considerations in caring for 2-6 year-old children

Responsibilities

Our school day has two parts: Morning and Afternoon.

During the morning, your role as an Assistant Teacher would be to assist the Head Teacher in caring for and educating the children. Responsibilities include preparing crafts, helping to guide children through lessons, coordinating with the Head Teacher regarding the days schedule and events, general cleaning, as well as miscellaneous tasks that aid in the logistics of the class.

In the afternoon, we have several elective clubs and also afterschool classes that you would participate in. These include our Afterschool Kindergarten class, Afterschool Elementary class, Cooking Club and also our Keiki Ukulele Club. In addition to these clubs, we also have Extended Care service which we offer our families.
