Team Teacher

HJIS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Teacher to join our Kindergarten through Grade 2 team. The successful candidate will collaborate with lead teachers to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

– Collaborate with homeroom and specialist teachers to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
– Support students in their learning journey by providing individualized attention and guidance.
– Assist in managing classroom activities, materials, and transitions to ensure a smooth learning experience.
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and creativity.
– Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to lead teachers and parents as needed.
– Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Early Childhood Education preferred).
– Previous teaching experience with early childhood or primary-aged students is an advantage.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
– Passion for working with young learners and fostering their growth.
– Familiarity with the IB PYP framework is a plus but not required.
